Well, Android O Might not be the official name for the next version of Android, but for now, it’s just Android O. Google had launched the first developer preview of the upcoming version of its mobile operating system which is right now code-named Android O. Well, Google has released Android O Developer preview images with lots of features like Adaptive icons, PIP, Notifications channels. The preview images can be downloaded by Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Nexus Player, Pixel C, Pixel, Pixel XL users. The first developer preview images are not going to be super stable. The sable version of Android O will be available in Q3 of 2017. Well, it’s still the early status, so the first version of Android O won’t be rolling out to the Android Beta program.

Notifications Channels: This version includes new notifications channel which lets users create fully customizable channel for each type of notification that they want to see. Snoozing: This is the new feature that can snooze notification to reappear again at later time. Well, guess what? Notifications Timeout: This feature lets users set a duration after which a notification should be canceled. Background Limits: With this feature, Google puts additional automatic limits on what apps can do when they are in the background. This feature will save battery life than never before. Picture In Picture: This feature lets users to watch a video which switching to a different app. This feature is similar to what YouTube does once you pressed the back button while watching a video.
